Episode #211 – Three Offer Sheets To The Wind

The 2019 NHL All-Star Game has come and gone. Sidney Crosby won the MVP and a couple of women’s olympic hockey players turned a lot of heads.

Ryan and P Mac get together to discuss the fallout from the All-Star Game, their thoughts on the event itself, the skills competition and the new tracking technology unveiled by the NHL. Dave Skypes-in from Ottawa to give his thoughts on All-Star weekend as well.

They also discuss the idea of teams giving offer sheets to Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews this summer. Could the Arizona Coyotes make a play to bring Auston Matthews, the hometown boy, back to Arizona? P Mac also looks back to one of the most famous offer sheets in NHL history, the debacle involving Scott Stevens and the St. Louis Blues.

Finally, they answer some Twitter questions and look at how the Vancouver Canucks are spending their All-Star break.
