Episode #185 – It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Episode185

The second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs are ALMOST upon us and we’ve got a full bench talking about the sweeps, the short series, the serious lack of upsets and the plethora of coach firings.

The Pittsburgh Penguins take care of the Philadelphia Flyers in six games after an upside down, roller coaster of a series. They are all set to play the Washington Capitals in the second round (stop us if you’ve heard this before)

They also talk Vancouver Canucks. Elias Pettersson wins the Swedish League MVP and literally gets dipped in gold. They discuss the Sedins’ shared nomination for the King Clancy award and Boeser’s chances of winning the Calder Trophy.

They’re talking about the coach vacancies around the league that popped up after an entire season of employment for all 31 head coaches in the league. Calgary has a new head coach, Dallas needs one as do the Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes (at a discounted price).

Finally, a Dave rant about the Flyers fans, the gang gives their Stanley Cup predictions and they pick their best possible lines to win game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final of current players only.

Listen to this week’s 5 Minutes for Paying for our $5+ Patreon backers. Geeta talks about her trip to Costa Rica and some interesting podcast opportunities.

Enjoy!
