Full bench at Geeta’s palatial estate this week. Dave, P Mac, Geeta and Ryan discuss the Canucks’ exposed list… not the most desirable group of guys. They discuss Erik Gudbranson’s new reasonable bridge deal and what he could potentially do at 100% next season.
They discuss Shane Doan leaving the Winnipeg/Phoenix/Arizona Jets/Coyotes, the only organization he’s ever played for. Will he retire a Coyote? Or test the open market and try and get a Stanley Cup? For a player that’s been only loyal to the Coyotes, it seems unfair to not resign him at this point of his career.
The gang also talks about the big Jonathan Drouin trade to Montreal. They discuss his rocky time in Tampa Bay and being talked about on the podcast, and how much of an impact he can and will have in Montreal once he starts playing.
Finally, the gang discusses Mike Smith heading to Calgary, which PON member would be exposed in a podcast expansion draft and generally have a lot of fun on a loose show as summer approaches.
