The regular season is wrapping up, the Kings could miss the playoffs and the Vancouver Canucks have stopped playing hockey all together!
Ryan, Dave and Geeta join you this week to discuss some interesting problems facing the Los Angeles Kings. From an aging and under performing core, to some questionable trades this year, to some unfortunate contracts they have for the next several years. How many Kings will become Vegas Golden Knights next year? Will Sutter or Lombardi have jobs next year?
They also discuss the Canucks lacklustre end to a disappointing regular season. Will coach Willie D return next year? What happens with the Sedin twins? And wasn’t Manny Malholtra already employed by the Canucks? Why was it announced this week he’s been hired on as a development coach? The most likeable Canuck of all time next to Trevor Linden, is he up for the Presidency?
They also discuss the possible battle of Alberta brewing, and whether or not the Maple Leafs HAVE to make the playoffs this season. They salivate over some of their favourite potential playoff match ups next month and realize this could be a fantastic playoff season!
They talk about the USA Women’s Hockey team boycotting the 2017 IIHF World Championships and the importance and significance of the matter, what it means for women’s sports in the US and around the world.
